Darren Aronofsky Directs Jennifer Lopez

For his first mainstream project since the Oscar-winning film, Aronofsky has picked a surprising new venture: a Kohl's commercial starring Jennifer Lopez.
Aronofsky worked with the American Idol judge on the latest advert for her established diffusion line with Kohl's. The video features J.Lo dancing with a team of male backup dancers (she does have a weakness for them) to the hit 1974 song “I Got the Music in Me."
Before thumbing your nose at the project, notice that Aronofsky employs the same digital effect for Jennifer's multiple costume changes as the one used in Natalie Portman's dramatic dance finale. Fancy! The ad may be more Step Up than Black Swan, but hey, we're not judging.
