(Getty)A scandalous
report in
Page Six this morning claims that
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had originally signed on to host the upcoming reality show
Project Runway All Stars, but backed out at the last minute, leaving producers scrambling for a replacement.
According to the gossip column's sources, Rosie ditched the small screen in favor of a role in
Mad Max: Fury Road.
"Literally days before filming, the show suddenly had no host," the source said. "Rosie had been pushing really hard for the job. She'd charmed everyone. But then with less than three weeks to go, Rosie pulled out to do
Mad Max, creating a huge drama. It put the production in a terribly position, and the Weinstein Co. even threatened to sue Rosie."
Rosie's camp, on the other hand, denies every signing a
Project Runway contract, claiming "she was never fully committed to the project."
Good thing Project Runway All Stars pulled through—the show will debut its newest season later this year with host
Carolyn Murphy
judges
Georgina Chapman,
Isaac Mizrahi, and
Marie Claire editor Joanna Coles. Oh, and even Katie Holmes makes a
guest appearance!
