Brian Reyes Appointed Head of Global Design at Calvin Klein... Underwear!

From runway to the, um, underwear-way. Designer Brian Reyes has been appointed to the post of VP and head of global design at Calvin Klein Underwear!
Reyes, who showed his eponymous high-end label at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York from 2006 to 2010, joined knitwear company Tse after shuttering his business. Brian Reyes' own collection was, season after season, an interesting mix of textural experimentation, smart color-mixing, and ultra-wearability—so we're excited to see what Reyes does at Calvin Klein.
"The underwear category is unique in that it is a fundamental basic but has so much possibility to be intriguing, sexy, and desirable," Reyes told WWD. "Calvin Klein in particular has such incredible history and brand power."
