Ever since we heard the news that Blake Lively altered her allegiance from Chanel to Gucci, we've been on pins and needles for her debut as a Gucci girl.

So how is the Savages star doing now that she's no longer exclusively Karl Lagerfeld's muse? She's on top of the world—or at least Hollywood—from the looks of it.

In the perfume ad promoting Gucci's new Premiere fragrance, Blake embodies old Hollywood glamour in a sequined dress that fits her knockout figure like a glove.

Check out the 30-second spot in which she gazes into the abyss of the Beverly Hills skyline and storms through the desert in (obviously practical) beige pumps.

She's a vision in gold. But we've got to put this out there—her expressions could have looked just a little more, well, lively. Watch and see:
