As if he didn't have his hands full enough as creative director of the Calvin Klein women's collection, Francisco Costa may be jonesin' for a side gig designing costumes for the Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire.

Okay that's probably jumping the gun. We're basing this solely on the fact that Costa recently debuted an apricot silk crepe dress on Net-a-Porter that he christened Katniss (pictured left), which, to be fair, could reference any number of Katnisses he knows: maybe Katniss B., who does his taxes, or Katniss P., the UPS delivery guy. So many Katnisses!

But supposing he is interested in making the transition to the big screen, much like the role of director (Gary Ross has declined to reprise his post), the role of costume designer could be up for grabs. At least if fashion photographer Joshua Jordan, and a very vocal style brigade, has anything to say about it: "You wanted it to bring you to an evil Thierry Mugler place, and it didn’t. It has nothing on the fashion business,” he recently told the New York Times, in a piece that panned the film's wardrobe choices as subpar.

But back to our own closets: we'll be content to channel the fictional post-apocalyptic reality TV heroine with Calvin Klein's cut-out dress with hammered crepe bodice, or, for a more affordable option, maybe with this crossbow and mocking jay necklace on etsy.
