Looking like royalty requires pretty stiff wardrobe planning, no doubt—but Kate Middleton went miles out of her way to coordinate this pretty pale pink ensemble.

According to a report in Grazia, the Duchess commissioned Jenny Packham (who's showing at New York Fashion Week today) to specially create the floral frock in memory of Princess Diana.

The Asian-influenced floral print symbolizes an elaborate orchid display (see below) at the Singapore Botanical Gardens, which was created for the late Princess of Wales right before her death.

Sorry, we probably should have warned you to keep tissues nearby.

The royal couple visited the gardens today—with a beautiful bouquet in tow—as part of their 11-day Diamond Jubilee Tour in Asia.
