House of Style, which aired from 1989 to 1999—and was revived, albeit for just one episode, in 2009 with
Bar Refaeli and
Chanel Iman hosting.
Back in the day,
House of Style was, along with
Style with Elsa Klensch on CNN, a mainstay must-watch fashion show of the pre-internet era—one of the few places someone obsessed with fashion, models, and celebs could get their (weekly—yeah, life before the internet was rough) up-to-the-minute fix.
Well, guess what?
House of Style is back this fall! MTV has
announced that it will revive
House of Style as an internet series starting October 9th. The show will viewable on MTV's
Style site.
"
House of Style is deeply rooted in celebrating and drawing energy from our audience's mix-and-match love of fashion, music, and pop culture," MTV EVP of News and Docs Dave Sirulnick said. "In bringing back
House of Style, we're once again looking to spotlight the spirit, personality, and sometimes humor of the most interesting people in fashion who personify the energy of style in 2012."
We can't wait! Which supermodel do you think they'll tap to host the newest series?
