Kate Winslet (Getty)Last year, St. John replaced longtime spokesmodel Angelina Jolie with flame-haired model/singer Karen Elson, with the brand's CEO noting, "We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette."
Funny how the brand's new spokesmodel is a blond actress: Kate Winslet.
Women's Wear Daily reports that Winslet is the face of St. John's fall 2011 collection, as she began shooting the campaign with photographer Craig McDean on Thursday in New Jersey. The campaign will make its debut in September.
