Paging all Prince Charmings: Christian Louboutin Reveals His 'Cinderella' Shoe

Cinderella was by far our favorite fairytale growing up. From her shimmering blue ball gown to her fashion-forward glass slipper, it's hard to deny that the sweet Cinderella had style.
Which is why it made perfect sense to us that Christian Louboutin, one of the most magical real-life shoe designers, updated the princess' iconic glass slipper in honor of the Cinderella Diamond Edition release on Blu-ray this fall.
The princess pumps were on display yesterday in Paris, alongside sketches and stills from the famous film and a short clip of Louboutin himself as a cobbler, explaining how he assembled the white lace and Swarovski-crystal-butterfly-embellished heel in a time crunch (because of the ball, of course).
"Cinderella is not only an iconic character when it comes to beauty, grace and fairytale love, but also shoes," Louboutin told WWD. "Her character and her story dictated the design to me, it was all there in the pages and the words of this tale."
Now, if only we had a Fairy Godmother...
