Ever since Kelly Clarkson sang "Since U Been Gone" (and "Miss Independent" and "Stronger"), she solidified her place as number one BAMF in our hearts. Which is why we are beyond happy to learn that she is Lucky's latest cover star.

And she's no regular cover girl either—she has the honor of repping the magazine's first-ever music issue!

Here's what's she's wearing: on the left, Kelly looks vibrant in a red Rachel Comey blazer, Michael Stars burgundy tank, and Diesel Jeans. Inside the issue (right), Kelly shows off her teeny tiny new waistline in a Z Spoke by Zac Posen black, purple, and green printed dress.

In the cover story Kelly admits that she's just a normal girl.

"I'm just a really normal girl," Kelly said. "I just blow-dry my hair and put on mascara and lip gloss, and I'm ready to go. I really don't get long nails. They're so Edward Scissorhands."

She also told the magazine that she likes bandage dresses because, "they're like built in Spanx."

And her fashion will forever be low-key because, "In Texas, we practically come out of the womb in jeans."
