Even though we're only a few days into this year's U.S. Open, there are already lots of new tennis outfits we've got our eyes on. Some of this season's most sizzling street-ready trends have already made on-court appearances—like neons hues, flared minis, and delicate pastels.

So for this summer's final weekend, look to the pristine polos and pleated skirts of fashion's favorite sport (Anna Wintour is a regular player and spectator herself) with these tennis-inspired looks.

Serena Williams' Neon and Pleats:
With a Nike collaboration and an eponymous clothing line under belt, Serena Williams is no stranger to fashion. The tennis star, known for eye-catching on-court getups, chose this eye-catching combo for an early match in the tournament.

For Labor Day, why not try for a teal pleated flared skirt like this T by Alexander Wang one, left. It's short and dark blue—just like Williams', but can also be worn well into fall (win!). To incorporate neon, tuck in a highlighter yellow striped tank, like this one from Forever 21. If you really want to dress like a champion, pick up an American Apparel nylon yellow stretch headband to fasten around your weekend pony.

Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams' Pretty Pastels:

It's no wonder Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams look so well-dressed on the court—Williams has her own sportswear line that she'll be showing at New York Fashion Week, and Sharapova has fronted campaigns for brands such as Cole Haan (plus, she always looks pitch-perfect on press tours).

Floral Cutout Back Shift Dress, $22.80. Forever21.com; ASOS Swing Dress with Triple Layer, $51.09.

For Williams' floral shift, pick up a dark pink dress with a straight cut. You'll want one with a graphic floral print too, like this Forever 21 floral cutout back shift dress. To achieve Sharapova's look, slip on a structured, lavender shift, preferably one with architectural lines, like this ASOS swing dress.

Dominika Cibulkova's Polo Dress:
Dominika Cibulkova, a Slovakian tennis player, instantly caught our eye in her prep-perfect Lacoste dress.

L!VE Short Sleeve Stretch Pique Polo Dress, $110. Lacoste.com; Ash Canvas Thelma Wedge Sneaker, $160. UrbanOutfitters.com

There's no better way to finish the summer strong than in a clean and classic shirt dress. L!VE's short sleeve stretch pique tipped polo dress is just what the long weekend ordered. Edge it up a little bit with ASH's white sneaker wedges, as opposed to the run-of-the-mill white Keds.
