Since her dog ate the meat dress and Jo Calderone got a double reverse sex change, the most outrageous thing Lady Gaga can do at this very moment is actually not dress up. We knew this day would come eventually: Lady Gaga's style evolution has perhaps come full circle. Evidence of this is the October 2011 Harper's Bazaar.

"I try not to focus on what people expect from me," she said in the magazine. "I think what has been lovely about my relationship with the public is that they expect the unexpected from me."

We have to admit, this is pretty refreshing. And of course the 25 year-old has some insightful things to say about the spread:
Don't you think that what's on the cover of a magazine is quite artificial? There's this idea that it's all natural, but everything's been staged to look natural. It is also an invention. It's just that my inventions are different. I often get asked about my artifice, but isn't fashion based on the idea that we can create a fantasy?
The October issue of Harper's hits the streets on September 27 and will feature more barefaced photos of Gaga, or should we say Stefani Germanotta?
