Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe
may be in the throes of prepping for her September 12th New York Fashion Week show, but industry tongues are wagging that her eponymous fashion collection—and her Bravo reality show—may not see many more seasons.
According to a report
in today's Page Six
, people in-the-know are "snipping that interest in the line has 'peaked'" and that her backers, Li & Fung, are "panicked" about the future of the clothing collection.
As for her Bravo show, it looks like another one of Zoe's assistants is leaving her to get his own spin-off—former Zoe-sidekicks Brad Goreski
and Taylor Jacobson
both landed TV deals after forging out on their own. Page Six
reports that Jeremiah Brent
, who appeared on season four of The Rachel Zoe Project
, has landed his own Bravo deal for a show that will track the launch of his own business, Jeremiah Brent Design.
A rep for Li & Fung deny any dissatisfaction. "We're very happy," Chief Strategy Officer Alan Chartash said. "Apparel launched a year or so, and since that time, we've launched footwear, handbags and we're launching a line of jewelry exclusively with Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. We're supportive of Rachel and the continuation of the brand. Like any clothing line, it ebbs and flows, but we're very happy with the apparel sales."
