It looks like waking up at the crack of dawn for that fab-u-lous Barneys shoe sale might actually be a bad thing. Sure you might beat out that, um, B in Apartment 23 for the most killer pair of heels ever, but chances are you'll be schlepping back to the returns counter in no time.
According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, the morning is pretty much the worst time of day to give new kicks a test drive. You're better off satisfying your shoe-shopping fix in the afternoon—at 3 p.m. to be exact.
How come? The report states factors such as "fluid retention, age, health issues and even gravitational pull" can cause your feet to change sizes during different times of the day—up to even half a size!
So unless you're Queen Elizabeth II, who allegedly pays someone to break in her royal footwear, you've got one more reason to get plenty of beauty rest—and, you know, dream of owning 7,984,721,353 pairs of Louboutins. (Or is that just me?)
