White House: Michelle Obama's $50,000 Lingerie Shopping Spree Never Happened

Michelle Obama (Getty Images)Sorry President Obama: It turns out the rumor about First Lady Michelle Obama dropping $50,000 on sexy lingerie is entirely false.
According to The Telegraph, MObama spent the weekend shopping with Queen of Qatar Sheikha Mozah at Agent Provocateur, where the FLOTUS reportedly loosened the pursestrings for some super sexy attire.
Granted, we were uber skeptical of the outlandish story to begin with. After all, this is the same woman who frequents affordable stores like J. Crew and Zara. It seems that the rumors were spreading a little widely for the White House staff's comfort, as the administration released an official statement denying the outlandish story.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said at a daily briefing, “In this case, it’s utterly false, and it’s irresponsible of an American news organization to repeat the story, even allowing that it could be true. So it’s wrong.”
