Fabulous hats are intrinsic to British culture, so of course
Kate Middleton has worn her fair share of whimsical designs since she wed Prince William last year. The Duchess of Cambridge often tops her incessantly shiny locks with feathered and floral pieces, consistently choosing the right headwear for the occasion. She even looks good in cowboy hats.
Naturally, Kate was a shoo-in for The Headwear Association's Hat Person of the Year award, which was decided by online vote. Kate nabbed 91% of the votes, putting fellow nominees like Rachel Zoe, Ne-Yo, and Charlie Sheen to shame. She's the first woman to be named Hat Person of the Year, as previous accolades went to Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.
