Looks We Love: Christina Aguilera's Low-Key Date Night

Christina Aguilera was spotted out on a date with boyfriend Matthew Rutler sporting a drastically toned down look that we couldn't help but prefer to her normal beauty routine. The Voice judge ditched her sometimes bedraggled-looking hair extensions and heavy makeup in favor of natural (albeit still bottle blond) locks and fresh, light makeup that allowed her natural beauty to shine through.

Aguilera paired her softer look with a form-fitting blue and gray dress that showed off her curves without drifting into Xtina territory. Earlier in the evening, the singer also sported a more subtle, but still sexy, look during The Voice's first live elimination show. The bold, marigold color of the Roland Mouret dress that she wore during the episode made Christina's stylist rethink her normal makeup routine.

“Our glam look all revolved around the color of my dress,” Aguilera wrote on her website. “I thought it was fresh and bright and I wanted to be sure my hair and makeup complemented the color, rather than clashed with it.”

Christina isn't the only starlet who has been rocking the makeunder lately. Lady Gaga recently posted a makeup-free photo of herself on her Twitter page and reality star Audrina Patridge took it all off (her makeup, that is) for xojane.com.
