Isaac Mizrahi Will Launch His First Fragrance, 'Fabulous,' This September on QVC

Today in we-can't-believe-it-took-this-long news, the amazing Isaac Mizrahi has announced he will make his first foray into fragrance—and that a color cosmetics collection may not be far behind.

According to a report in WWD this morning, Mizrahi will launch 'Fabulous,' a fruity, floral, vanilla scent—with notes of mandarin, nectarine, bergamot, jasmine, tuberose, freesia, peony, sandalwood, vanilla, and cedar (whew!)—on QVC September 6th, to coincide with Fashion's Night Out.

"I feel like if you get married too young, it rarely works out," Mizrahi told WWD. "It's the same thing with this—you get very few chances at [creating a scent]. You have to get it right. There has to be care taken. That's what all these years of experience have brought to this. I really want it to be special. Good perfumes are more cultural than product."

We're so excited to smell Mizrahi's first scent! We've been fans of his forever—and Unzipped, the documentary about his fall 1994 collection, is one of our favorite films of all time. Are you fan? Tell us in the comments!
