Supermodel Christie Brinkley
showed off a gorgeous glow at a party in the Hamptons over the weekend. With sunkissed skin and a fun frock, she was the picture of summer perfection.
How do you get her look without baking in the sun? Here are some tips for looking summer chic while keeping your skin safe:
- Bronzer is your friend. A touch of bronzing powder can amp up your look. For light skin, try a peachy shade. Dark skin tones can go for something more golden. Brush bronzer lightly over cheeks, forehead and the bridge of your nose—places where the sun would hit naturally.
- Fake, don't bake. Hit a spray booth or pick up a bottle of tanner to build up a healthy glow. Remember to exfoliate before applying!
- Moisturize. Dry skin emphasizes wrinkles and makes skin look dull. Periodically apply moisturizer to your face and lotion to your body to ensure your skin is hydrated.

- Drink water! Moisturizer is just one aspect of keeping your skin hydrated—and it can't do it alone. Drinking water will keep your skin happy and plumped up. It will minimize fine lines and remove toxins in the process.
