Nicole Scherzinger, the newest breed of temporary nails has greatly improved since those Lee self-adhesive options first reared their ugly plastic tips 25 years ago. She actually liked Broadway Nails' new
ImPRESS Press-On Manicure so much she became the company's brand ambassador.
Broadway Nails describes their faux finger decor as "fashion for you nails...a revolutionary way to apply polish...It gives the look of a gel manicure, but you don't need an appointment." Each set comes with a selection of 24 plastic tips in a range of 12 different sizes, each with adhesive backing that sticks to the natural nail bed for up to a week.
The collection Nicole is endorsing includes a total of 36 different sets. Solid color kits are $5.99 each and are offered in shades ranging from pale beige-pink to black. The patterned options, sold for $7.99, include French tips, animal prints, brightly-colored florals and even faux lace.
