Current Obsession: Cass Lilien Morse Code Jewelry

(Source: Cass Lilien; Music Lyric necklace and bracelet, from $225)When you walk out of the door each morning, what does your appearance say to the world? More specifically, what is your jewelry communicating?

If you're wearing one of NYC-based designer Cass Lilien's creations, chances are, quite a bit. Her new Morse Code collection uses beads, diamonds and dash-shaped pendants to literally spell out messages. Her multi-strand Music Lyric necklace or bracelet (starting at $225) is a symphony of silk string, 14-karat gold, sterling silver and champagne diamonds that spell out the verse of any song.

You can custom make your own, or opt for a version that Lilien has already created, such as her Led Zeppelin design ($250) with its lyrics "When mountains crumble to the sea..." from the band's song "Thank You."

Although perhaps you only need a single word to say it all: love. With Lilien's bracelet ($275), those precious four letters are translated in gold and diamonds, which if you ask us, are two materials that perfectly reflect the shining sentiment.
