Current Obsession: Diptyque's Infused Facial Water

(Source: Diptyque)When we first heard that Diptyque was releasing its L’Art du Soin Facial Skincare Collection, our reaction might have been borderline ecstatic. We're talking an ALL CAPS email might have resulted between two of us here at SB. And for good reason: The French brand is one of the top luxury perfumers (and makes some of our favorite candles), so we were very eager to get our hot little hands on the new collection. We test-ran the Infused Facial Water ($55) and our suspicions were confirmed: This is one luxe skincare line.

The Infused Facial Water contains Damask rose hydrosol (fancy word for floral water) and cabbage plant nasturtium, which made our skin feel like it was being smothered in a bouquet (in the absolute best way possible, mind you). The intoxicating fragrance mixed with the soothing touch of vitamins, minerals, and nine plants and flowers refreshed and hydrated skin in one swipe. When applied after exfoliating, this facial water left our face feeling like it had just come back from a day at a Turkish spa, even if we hadn't left our cramped bathroom.

Do we need rose-infused facial water? Probably not. Do we want rose-infused facial water? Absolutely.
