Imax Tree, Photo editing by Tanya Leigh WashingtonFall 2012's Haute Couture Week continues to heat up and today Paris brought us decadent designs from Chanel, Armani Privé and Stéphane Rolland. The trio captivated us with loads of feathers, iridescent opulence and majestic red carpet-worthy pieces.

Giorgio Armani's show had the color palette and textures of an undersea world. His glittering blue hourglass gown couldn't help but remind us of the Little Mermaid's unforgettable sparkling ocean dress. The designer amped up the drama of his signature architectural silhouettes with bead-drenched veils, pillbox hats, and feathery fascinators.

Stéphane Rolland may not be a household name, but that doesn't mean the likes of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West didn't make appearances at his couture show. This season it was all about fowl play—with sheer airy silks, wispy feathers, and wings.

Lastly, Karl Lagerfeld debuted yet another futuristic tweed-filled collection in the name of Chanel. The presentation was rife with silver stockings, heavy beading, and pink suits. Nothing, however, outdid the spectacular white feather wedding gown creation Lindsey Wixson closed the show with. Breathtaking doesn't do it justice.
