Coco Rocha's Beauty Arsenal

Coco Rocha loves beauty products. She said, laughingly, that the first thing she made in her house was a beauty cabinet to hold her stash of must-haves. We were dying to know what formulations she can't do without so she agreed to share some of her favorite items.

Coco credits Lancome and L'Oreal products for getting her skin squeaky clean and keeping it hydrated. Lancome makeup
remover especially is a product she cannot do without. Since her skin is very sensitive to light and lots of synthetic ingredients she tends to stay away from anything heavily perfumed.

She also mentioned she avoids really thick, heavy textures when she chooses her skincare. She prefers light, liquid-y formulations that allow her skin to breathe. She did mention, however, that when she is wearing makeup she's only thinking about coverage.

How does Coco get that glowing complexion with foundation? "It's the L'Oreal MagicSmooth Souffle Makeup," she told us. "I mix it sometimes with a darker color and it comes out super fluffy—think of a cake." She also mentioned, "I love a real pasty face with dark eyes."

When it comes to caring for her long, luxurious hair Coco had some interesting recommendations and instructions. She uses Bumble and Bumble products whenever she can and offered how she likes to use the Deeep Masque. "You're supposed to leave the deep conditioner in for something like 20 minutes, but I leave it on all day or all night if I can and then rinse it out and wash my hair once again."

We certainly thank Coco for sharing her favorite beauty products and rituals. Yet there's one thing she turns to when she needs to look her best and it doesn't come out of a tube, jar or bottle. The answer? "Sleep," she said. "I make sure that if I'm working the next day I sleep well." She's certainly inspired us and tonight we're definitely going to heed her advice.
