Don't Think We Forgot About Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson's Super Bowl Style

Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson, don't think we've forgotten about you! Sure, we were momentarily distracted by Beyonce's iguana leather bodysuit, but, while your Super Bowl performance looks weren't quite as racy, they're definitely worth analyzing.

First up, Jennifer!

The pop star took to the Superdome's field to sing a moving rendition of "America the Beautiful" with the Sandy Hook Elementary School chorus. Hudson chose a tight leather turtleneck from Monika Chiang, which she paired with a white L'Wren Scott pencil skirt featuring a double row of black buttons. To finish the look, she added a swipe of red lipstick, Yves Saint Laurent heels, and a green ribbon pin, to pay tribute to Sandy Hook's victims.

Then, Alicia Keys sang the national anthem in a mermaid Alaia gown topped off with a gold and diamond Marina B choker.

We think this was a smart move. If there's one thing that won't get lost under a grand piano it's a giant, sweeping hem.
