Kate Middleton: Duchess of Cambridge, Queen of Amazing Hats

You know it's a big day when Kate Middleton busts out her fancy-pants headwear. The Duchess of Cambridge, Queen of Amazing hats, pulled out an oldie-but-goodie — she last wore the prim topper to a wedding back in 2011 — today for an official visit to London's tube (the subway in States-speak) with the Queen. (The actual Queen that is.)

To celebrate the tube's 150th anniversary, the Duchess cloaked her little grape — a.k.a. the royal bun in her oven — in a dark teal bead-embellished coat by Danish designer By Malene Birger. She coordinated her Episode Angel black suede heels with a matching clutch and finished things off with Cornelia James black wool gloves.
A very snazzy outfit for someone who "misses traveling the tube,” as so she said today. Oh, royal woes!
