How to Successfully Wear Several Trends at Once, According to Sarah Jessica Parker

We've said this before, and we'll say it again—sartorially, Sarah Jessica Parker can do absolutely no wrong. Even when she throws on a ton of trends in one outfit (à la Carrie Bradshaw).

Case in point: At the city.ballet premiere in New York City earlier this week, SJP was quite pretty in pink in a girly-glam ruched Giles Deacon dress, which she topped off with a rock star-esque studded leather Saint Laurent jacket, accessorized with glitzy Fred Leighton jewels, a ladylike Freedom of Animals bag and retro-inspired velvet Manolo Blahnik pumps. (Oh, and there are those super trendy sheer black tights we talked about yesterday!)

We'll be the first to admit that on us, this entire outfit would look very 'granny got dressed-while-drunk.' But on Sarah Jessica, girly-glam + rock star + glitzy + ladylike + retro = utterly amazing. Seriously, piling it all on never looked so good. Kudos to her for making it work.
