Whoa, Rooney Mara, is that you?
After taking a major red carpet hiatus—seven months to be exact!—the raven-haired actress went back on the map this weekend at 2012 Dubai International Film Festival. But we hardly even recognized her without the spiky bangs and vampy lip colors of yesteryear. Mara made her dramatic re-emergence with a fresh face (no Lisbeth Salander-style liner here) and a sleek new 'do.
One thing certainly stayed the same, though. Check out that sheer black dress:
