Just after Jack Nicholson sauntered onstage before the last award of the night at the 2013 Oscars, Michelle Obama appeared onscreen, via satellite from the Governors' Dinner, which she was hosting. She and Nicholson presented the all-important Academy Award for Best Picture of the Year to Ben Affleck's Argo... but what was the First Lady of the United States wearing for her surprise appearance on the Hollywood awards show?

First Lady Michelle Obama wore a custom-made Naeem Khan gown to present the 2013 Oscar for Best Picture to Argo tonight. The dress is a smoke gray and silver art-deco-inspired sleeveless tulle gown that features a square neckline.
