Katy Perry Shrunk Aretha Franklin's Famous Bow Hat, Brought it to the Inauguration
(Twitpic/katyperry, Getty Images)Katy Perry paid some R-E-S-P-E-C-T to Aretha Franklin at yesterday's presidential inauguration with a special accessory — a tiny replica of the bow hat the Queen of Soul wore to the same event in 2009.
"Big inauguration, tiny Aretha hat," the pop star Tweeted, along with a photo of the mini topper. Perry, who hat the guinea pig-sized hat custom made, told People, "I thought it would be fun to do a shout out to four years ago."
So did John Mayer! Perry's beau was spotted trying the itty bitty bow hat on for size.
