#TBT: When Miranda Kerr Looked Relatively Low-Key

(Source: PacificCoastNews.com) Back in 2012, before supermodel Miranda Kerr dropped her single, separated from hubby Orlando Bloom, and became the uber-perfect street-style star that she is now, the Aussie took to the streets of NYC in an outfit that can only be described as pretty normal.

That is, if you're comparing this perfect summer look to Kerr's more recent style moments. We're so used to seeing her dressed to the nines in leather pants, skyscraper heels and a perfect coiff that to see the model dressed in cutoffs and a colorful tee seems shocking. But let's be honest here, she's still a professional. Kerr was on her way to an Italian Vogue photoshoot and you don't show up to one of those wearing just anything.

(Source: PacificCoastNews.com)We, however, could wear this look everyday and to do so, we'd have to start with the right accessories, something Kerr has mastered. Those shoes could work with a burlap sack but when paired with the rest of Kerr's ensemble, the punchy five-inch heels add a dose of glamour to her otherwise low-key look. Back in 2012, the It-bag of the season was undoubtedly Alexander Wang's Diego bucket purse, which of course, this runway model had her hands on.

The sunnies, the easy updo, the tan: Kerr pulled it all off effortlessly. We're planning on stealing these moves out of her playbook all summer.
