Michelle Obama sat for her portrait — the FLOTUS's official photo of President Obama's second term – with her newly-cut bangs out in full force.
The First Lady's fringe has been getting a lot of attention in the press — she told Rachael Ray the cut was a product of her "mid-life crisis" — and now, here it is, preserved for posterity in all of its glossiness.
Let's move on to the outfit!
Michelle Obama chose to keep those famous arms under wraps in a paneled, asymmetrical Reed Krakoff dress. She picked a neutral manicure, and accessorized with a single strand of pearls (Secret Service gives them out to all First Ladies when they enter the White House, kind of like getting a lei when you arrive in Hawaii).
She looks so relaxed, like "I got this," don't you think?
