I Tried (and Failed) to Get Vanessa Hudgens to Make Fun of Justin Bieber's Saggy Pants

Here's how I know this: Last night, at a party celebrating the launch of Diane von Furstenberg's swimwear line for Roxy, I not-so-subtly tried to get her to make fun of her best friend Selena Gomez's ex's questionable wardrobe choices, with no success.
This is how the conversation went:
Me: (Out of nowhere — we had been chatting about Spring Breakers and her beach style) So, what do you think of guys in drop-crotch pants?
Vanessa Hudgens: (Raises eyebrow)
Me: (Internal monologue - Balls. She knows who I'm talking about.)
Vanessa Hudgens: I think it looks cool. It depends on who it is. If it suits your personality, then do it. It's high fashion.
Publicist: (Gently taps me) Thank you, Caitlin! (Politely ushers Vanessa away)
Hat tip to you, Vanessa Hudgens, for not taking the bait. Making fun of your friends' exes is the best. Especially when they dress like this.
