French actress Adèle Exarchopoulos may not be on your radar just yet, but thanks to her critically acclaimed (albeit controversial) indie film Blue is the Warmest Color, soon she will be. Hopefully we'll be seeing a lot more of this adorable ingenue—her laissez-faire approach to fashion will certainly go over well with the downtown crowd.

We hate to even go here, but we kind of have to... Adèle just has that sartorial 'je ne sais quoi' that all French girls seem to have. (Think Fanny Valette, Lea Seydoux, Melanie Laurent, Clemence Poesy, and Louise Bourgoin.)

Even though she keeps it easy in slinky solids, quirky footwear, DIY hairstyles, kohl-rimmed lids, and shades of pink on her pout, Adèle's effortless uncontrived aesthetic still turns heads, proving that simple can be stylish and sexy as well.

Move over, Olivia Palermo. There's a new fashionista in town.
