paired her silver Dolce & Gabbana
gown with a 1920s-inspired updo at the 2012 Vanity Fair
Oscar Party. She had her longer locks rolled up and pinned into in a faux bob with side-swept bangs.
To recreate Selena's retro style, start by creating a side part and sectioning out bangs or longer tresses along the front hairline. Next, draw back the rest of the hair and secure it into a very loose ponytail at the nape of the neck. The sides should droop down slightly and begin to resemble a bob. Then, roll the ponytail under and insert bobby pins to keep it in place. Sweep the remaining section of hair across the forehead and tuck the ends behind the ear. To finish, a good misting of hairspray will help set the style.
