Russell Simmons' Phat Farm
In 1992, hip-hop impresario Russell Simmons founded Phat Farm, an extremely popular urban sportswear line with a preppy feel. In the late '90s, his then-wife Kimora launched Baby Phat, a womenswear branch of the big-selling brand. In 2004, Simmons sold Phat Fashions for $114 million.
