If you took a moment to avert your eyes upward from Jessica Chastain's bombshell Alexander McQueen gown at last night's SAG Awards — the actress had a major Jessica Rabbit moment going on with her, ahem, yeah — you were probably equally entranced by her hair and makeup.
Celebrity makeup artist Kristofer Buckle and hairstylist Renato Campora teamed up to create Chastain's down-to-earth glamour by combining understated beauty elements with light, touchable hair — a safe bet after her rather, uh, questionable look at the Golden Globes.
Love the look? Here's a list of each and every single beauty product the duo used, plus a quick step-by-step DIY tutorial for Chastain's effortless waves, so you, too, can steal the style!

Step 1: First start by prepping wet hair with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Boost & Lift Foaming Air Mousse ($3.99 at Target.com) for lightweight volume.
Step 2: Then spritz Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Heat Protect & Shine Spray ($3.99 at Target.com) to protect your tresses while blow-drying them.
Step 3: Blow dry hair with a round brush until it’s dry, then part hair on the side (see, above, for an example) to give it va-va-voom volume.
Step 4: Using a 1-½ inch curling iron, curl the ends of your locks for 10 seconds and remove for a soft wave. Once your hair cools, brush the curls out with a thin comb to soften the look.
Step 5: To finish, spray a brush with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Extra Firm Hold Hairspray ($3.99 at Target.com) and smooth back the hairs around your face. Then give your locks a final mist down of hairspray to hold hair in place, while leaving it with lots of natural movement.
