Nars & Pierre Hardy's Heel-Inspired Polishes Come in Mini Shoe Boxes
Shoes and nail polishes — pardon, Pierre Hardy heels and Nars lacquers — could there be a better pairing?
Out next month, the beauty brand and footwear designer — the man who, before launching his eponymous label, designed kicks for Christian Dior and Hermes — teamed up on a collection of six nail polish duos (that's 12 shades in all) inspired by Hardy's summer 2012 shoes.
The best part? Each set comes packaged in mini shoe boxes. With dust bags! Who doesn't love a well-executed theme...
The $29 color duos include (from L-R, above): Ethno Run, an orange and navy; Easy Walk, a shimmering rose gold and camel; Vertebra, a coral and dusty rose. And below (from L-R): Sharks, a pretty pastel yellow and lavender; and Sharplines, a punchy peach and burgundy.
Two new shades of Nars' cult-fave blushes — Rotonde, a tiger lily peach, and Boys Don't Cry, a pink grapefruit ($48) — also make a cameo in the collection, and naturally, are adorned with Hardy's trademark cubic print.
The collection hits shelves and online May 1st.
