How to DIY Anne Hathaway's Accent Manicure

Now here's a newlywed who wants to draw some serious attention to her ring finger—check out Anne Hathaway's fun and flirty accent nail mani!

The stunning actress, who recently dropped 25 lbs (!) for her new role in Les Miserables, showed off her svelte frame in a strappy Victoria Beckham LBD at the 2012 Women's Media Awards last night.

Whether you, too, have a rock to flaunt—even though, sad face, Hathaway wasn't sporting her 6-carat bling at the event—or you're looking to spruce up a simple red manicure, try out a few of these festive combinations to, uh, nail this leading lady's look.

Red Polish: For a ripe cherry hue like the one Hathaway's wearing, try Essie's "Really Red" Nail Polish ($8 at Essie.com). Or give the classic look a haute holiday twist with OPI's "Malaga Wine" Nail Lacquer ($7.50 on Amazon.com)—the rich burgundy is perfect for the season. (Helloooo, oxblood!)

Or if you want to make the look ultra-romantic—and very Hathaway!—try Sally Hansen's Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips in Love Letter ($9.99 at Ulta.com). The white strips are adorned with caligraphy-style words you'd read in a love letter. Super-sweet, no?
