Quickly Get the Look: Jennifer Garner's Marvelously Messy Updo (In 5 Minutes Flat!)
(Credit: Jason Merritt/Getty Images North America)
From the front, it appears as if Jennifer Garner wore a lovely low bun to the premiere of Dallas Buyers Club at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. But from the back, it's a totally different story. This, my dear friends, is what we'd like to call the new-age mullet for ladies. All classic business in the front, complete tousled partaaaaaaaay in the back.
Think you might want to try it? You'll need the following (and only five minutes!):
-A handful of bobby pins
-A blow dryer
-A texturizing styling cream, like Jonathan Product Dirt Texturizing Paste ($26)
Dampen your hair (from mid-shaft all the way down the ends) and really work the texturizing product in. Rough dry your hair so that it has this gritty, I-haven't-washed-my-hair-in-a-week sort of texture. Gather your strands and loosely roll and pin them up into a low, sloppy French twist. No need to make it nice and neat. The more disheveled it looks, the better.
